COVID-19 NQPC Update

The Australian Minister for Health confirmed that all Allied Health Businesses can continue working and are encouraged to help reduce the workload on hospital's and GP's. We are enforcing screening protocols, reducing patient numbers, increasing cleaning and hygiene practices and temperature screening all staff and patients to ensure your safety.  You will be required to obide by Government distancing guidelines.

If you are in self isolation, or would prefer to minimise contact, you may like to consult us via Telehealth.  Telehealth uses digital technology which is available on your phone or computer to consult with Physio's remotely.  Private Health fund rebates and discounted fees are available using Telehealth.  DVA and Workcover services may also be eligible. Consult with your Physiotherapist.

We do ask that you adhere to our screening policies and notify us if your health status changes prior to attendance.  We appreciate your support in this period.

Under the Directorship of experienced Sports Physiotherapist Steve Sartori, North Queensland Physiotherapy Centre has been operating for over 20 years, based in Townsville, North Queensland. Our team of twelve Physiotherapists pride themselves in offering a ‘hands-on’ approach, personalised level of expertise and an active rehabilitation approach, using a wide range of drug-free techniques to relieve pain, restore movement and prevent further problems. Our team treat people of all ages with physical problems caused by illness, accident or ageing.

Being a physiotherapist at North Queensland Physiotherapy Centre (NQPC) is all about teamwork. As well as being able to build a rapport with our patients, we feel it is equally important to maintain communication with their relatives or carers as well as occupational therapists, GP’s, health visitors, district nurses and social workers.
